The Great APCS Fire

I had to fire the new guy today. It was rough on me. I don't take well to confrontation. Especially when i'm firing someone!!!! Ugh. But it had to happen. He wasn't exactly...working out. I had to constantly reshow him things. Am i an asshat for expecting someone to learn? I think not.

The Brainwashing of a Child

I have successfully taught Lexi, my 2 year old daughter, to say "The Bulls" after i prompt her with "Lexi, who rules?" We then give hi-fives. I love having kids.

Burnin' Down the House

I almost burned my house down this weekend. I was trying to burn decorative grasses in my backyard so that they would grow big and beautiful for the spring and summer....then the wind shifted. Sparks blowing in the wind caught on of the grass things against my house on fire...then my house caught on fire. Good thing for buckets of water....I'll post a pic of one of those grass things burning in a day or two. Pretty intense

Victory

Finally, the Bulls choked out a win last night. They had been on a 3 game losing streak. In case any one of you hasn't stayed up to date (i know that no one but me has) here is the link to the nba standings so that you can see how awesome the Bulls are doing this year :)

There is another game tomorrow night against portland. The Bullies are currently in 7th place in the East (there are 8 playoff spots) and they are only 1/2 a game out of 5th place. pretty sweet, eh?

HD TV

I just got hooked up with HDTV today from Insight. Hopefully it rock. I can't wait to get home and try it. The Bulls game is going to be broadcast in HD at 7:30 on Comcast (56). You can bet your life that i'll be there. We just got a new 48" HDTV made by JVC. It rules the earth. I've wanted a rockin tv like that since i was a wee tike. Enjoy the Bulls game tonight. Cross your fingers...we're playing the Spurs.
